Multi homed bandwidth

Dasuni's hosting partners use two network providers - Easynet and Clara.net - with BGP4 routing.
This means that if one provider goes down data will still be passed via the second network.

Dasuni's hosting partners pride themselves on staff quality and commitment. With operations team occupying residential accommodation within close proximity to RedBus, we can guarantee an immediate response to any major incidents that may arise. This makes our partners one of the only UK providers to offer a carrier grade hosting environment with personnel on site.

Data Centre

The datacentre's infrastructure, is truly first class, with the latest gas-based fire protection systems, specialised heat and smoke sensors, raised flooring, diverse power supplies with diesel back up generator's. The data floor is kept at a constant 21°C ± 2°C and relative humidity is kept at 50% ± 10%. The facility operate's computerised building management systems that monitor and remotely operate sensors covering electrical, mechanical, fire detection and leak detection systems. Security is a key feature, with visual identification being needed to access the datafloor, and also access is limited via individually programmed Proximity Access Cards (PAC), usage of the PAC is logged centrally by time and date.

Dasuni's hosting partners have access to over 25 different fibre providers, due to the fact that RedBus is situated in the heart of London Docklands, and is used by many carriers as base locations. They are currently utilising two of those, Claranet and Easynet. Presently, they run a 100 mbit to Claranet, who in turn are connected to LINX ( London Internet Exchange ) via multiple Gig'E connections. They are also connected to Easynet via a 100 mbit link, who are again in turn connected to LINX via multiple Gig'E connections. Their network is Cisco powered, with HSRP across core equipment and utilising BGP4 routing to guarantee redundancy and fastest-route-to-host. Redbus itself boasts two diverse fibre entry points, ensuring that there is no single point of failure in the network.
